ABOUT ME

What makes Shivani tick

Hi there! I’m a product designer working with a meal kit delivery startup– Green Chef for close to 2 years. I’ve done my Masters in Interaction Design and have previously interned with Walmart Labs.

Working as the sole UX designer for a young age start up, I fluidly move between a host of roles beyond design– being a user researcher conducting user studies to a brand designer creating marketing landing pages. But most often you’d find me white boarding with my product managers working on user and business problems and creating awesome (sure, yes!) solutions.

What’s my design process?
I like to design by observing, questioning and exploring. I use both qualitative user research and data as tools to validate assumptions and
make design decisions.

I have a passion for continuous experimentation, iteration, and optimization. I consistently strive to create designs that are first and foremost functional but have an equal focus on being user-friendly and viscerally fun. My job as a designer is to vouch for a right balance between all three, never sacrificing one for the other.
