Sonu Nigam (yes, the singer) will be see very soon in a movie -Aankhon Aankhon Mein. This time his role will not be that of a lover boy but a blind singer.

Sonu Nigam is continuously emphasizing that he is not attempting to establish his career in films but is simply doing this movie for it’s scrip. Honey that’s what actors do!

Sonu says,”My friend Akashdeep has been planning to do this film for the longest time. When he had offered it to me earlier, I wasn’t quite interested . I had turned it down. But when I read the script, I found it extremely interesting. We are yet to figure out the dates as I’m presently touring the US and I will be back this month end.”

So far Sonu has acted in Jaani Dushman:Ek Anokhi Kahani, Kaash…..Aap Kamare Hote and Love in Nepal. We hope this forthcoming film will charm box office unlike his others!

Apart from acting in this movie, Sonu will be composing music as well.

The film is said to be inspired by a very popular play, Titlee, producer by Alyque Padamsee. Well Akashdeep has shown a great confidence in Sonu and we hope that Sonu will justify the role. Akashdeep says,” We are very good friends. One fine day he walked in my house and I knew that only he could portray the singer in my film.”
