Looks like Mani Ratnam’s favorite couple is Abhi and Ash as he has signed then for another of his masterpeice. Playing as Lord Ram and Goddess Sita, Abhi and Ash will soon be seen in Ratnam’s next film which is a rendition of Ramayana. Where there is Lord Ram and Goddess Sita who can forget the faithful Hanuman. The character of Hanuman will be played by none other than our Govinda. It is said that Govinda didnt take even a second to accept this role.

          Although Mani Ratnam has already signed Abhi and Ash for the interpretation of Ramyana, the twist is that Raj Kumar Santoshi also has plans to make a version of Ramayana with Ajay and Kajol in the lead role.

          Lets just hope that at the end we dont have to see many versions of Ramayana like we did with the series of Bhagat Singh.
